ARUN invests in social enterprises which create greater social value and build knowledge sharing platform on social investment.   International Symposium, ”CREATING OUR FUTURE THROUGH SOCIAL INVESTMENT”, brings the individuals and experts from the leading social investment organizations and social enterprises from United States, Netherland, India, Cambodia and Japan.
Today, social investment is getting attention as an impact investment, with the increase of social investment bond and the rise of promising entrepreneurs. After March 11th of 2012, a number of funds have been created and supported rehabilitation of the communities in Tohoku region affected by the earthquake and the tsunami. This is an example of social investment attempts in Japan, in order to provide the long-term solutions to the critical issues with sustained support.

The Symposium invites discussions and experience-sharing from the guest speakers and participants. It will be an opportunity to exchange ideas such as how we can connect and integrate the social business to our society better and how we can create greater value through social investment.
